Recent Work
Is this Normal?
Following a full run at Edinburgh Fringe last year, award-winning storyteller and Moth StorySLAM champion Ansa Edim’s one woman storytelling show explores modern romance through the eyes of a fat Black woman boldly navigating a world of dating disasters, confusing societal expectations, and the cringey road to self-discovery. At its core, though, it’s about embracing your own power, breaking free from societal norms, and finding the joy in your beautifully imperfect story.

Upcoming Projects
Sriya Sarkar is a multidisciplinary director and creative impact producer.
She has worked across digital, film, and theater, with a focus on advocacy, impact, and political spaces, including Change.org, Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, and Democratic super PAC Priorities USA.
As a multidisciplinary director and producer, her work has been mounted at the Edinburgh Fringe and played at film festivals globally. She is a co-founder of the South Asian Sexual & Mental Health Alliance (SASMHA), a digital community for next generation South Asians across the diaspora, and launched their podcast, Brown Taboo Project. She is currently working on a short documentary about the impact of a legal loophole on a wrongfully incarcerated man, his daughter, and five generations of his family.
She currently co-runs Inquilaabis, a full-service production company dedicated to spotlighting radically impactful organizations, movements, and individuals through short form content and savvy distribution strategies.
Her creative work has contributed to winning clemency for the wrongfully incarcerated, amplifying millions of petition signers' voices for racial justice, and destigmatizing abortion through live comedy.
I worked with Change.org to direct and produce an online spot for a petition starter’s campaign to label the atrocities in Tigray a genocide.
